The Practical Way Of Curing Acne

Dermatologists explain that the various types of acne are caused mainly by irritated blackheads, pimples, and superficial sebaceous cysts on the skin. The areas that are usually affected include the forehead, the temples, the cheeks, the chin, the chest, and even the back. Some medical cases have also proven that acne can affect large areas of the body that result to extensive scarring.

Aside from hormonal imbalance and minor skin disorders, acne is also known to be caused by improper eating habits, chronic constipation and devitalized condition of skin resulted from unhygienic living habits, consumption of tea, coffee, alcohol or tobacco in large amounts, and inactive habits that lead to indigestion and weakness of the body.

CHEAP BUT EFFECTIVE REMEDIES

Acne is an indiscriminant skin disorder. It attacks people from any race. By simply visiting your dermatologist, you can find many different treatment options, which include Retinoids, Hormonal antibiotics, or even peroxide treatments. Your dermatologist may even recommend mico-dermabrasion, a minor laser like surgery that can greatly reduce the appearance of acne.

Before you go out and spend thousand of dollars on surgeries and medication, there are many people that believe that just using products that you have around your home can greatly reduce or eliminate your acne completely without the risks that come from using harsh chemicals on your face.

· Baking Soda - this simple powder can be used in so many different ways that it is astounding. By mixing small amounts of water, you can form a paste that can be applied like a mask to your face. After about fifteen minutes, you rinse it off. Baking soda acts like an exfoliate by removing dead skin cell, preventing them from clogging pores and causing acne.

· Apple cider vinegar – this incredible product costs less than two dollars and is extremely effective in killing acne causing bacteria. it has properties that can actually balance your skins pH levels and absorb excess oils that your skin develops. Tea tree oil works in much the same way by killing the bacteria that causes acne.

· If you do not want to put apple cider vinegar on your face, you can substitute it for lemon or limejuice, they have the same properties and work in the same manner.

· Egg whites – egg whites are very high in protein and when used as a mask, it can heal acne-affected skin. Egg whites also absorb oil from the skin, reducing the chance of an acne outbreak. Simply beat the egg white and apply it directly to your skin. Let it dry and rinse it off. It is as easy as that.

· Oatmeal – this product has always been known for it healing properties for skin disorders. However, for acne, it will absorb the excess oil and dirt from pores. You will need to prepare it according to the cooking directions and let it cool. Then by applying it to your face, and rinsing after fifteen minutes will give you the relief you have been searching for.

These home remedies may not work for everyone, you may still need to consult a dermatologist if your acne is severe or gets worse.
